Privacy
This page describes what this software does. It is not legal advice. Effective 13 October 2026.
What is stored
The team-version form appends one line containing the UTC time and the email address, and nothing else.
No IP address is written.
We keep each line in a file on the server. The app does not delete lines on a schedule. There is no page on this site that deletes a line.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for advertising.
What is not stored
A passing or failing check writes nothing to disk.
The name and the company are used only to render the page you are looking at. They are not written to a file.
The name and the company are not written to logs.
Answers are not written to a file. The reference ID is not written to a file. A lost record cannot be reissued, because there is no copy here to reissue.
The reference ID
The reference ID is an unkeyed SHA-256 digest of the fields printed on the record. Anyone with those fields can recompute it. It shows that the ID matches the fields next to it. It does not show that this site issued the record, and it does not show who sat the check. This site does not look an ID up.
- Normalise the name and the company: Unicode NFC, trim the ends, and collapse each run of whitespace to a single space.
- The date is the UTC day on the record, as YYYY-MM-DD.
- The score is the fraction printed in raw form, such as 11/12.
- The set is the question-set version printed on the record, such as 2026.1.
- Build a JSON text of pairs, with no added spaces, in this order: ["v","1"], ["name", name], ["company", company], ["date", date], ["score", score], ["set", set]. JSON.stringify of that array is the canonical text.
- Take the SHA-256 of that UTF-8 text, as lowercase hex. That is the full digest.
- The reference ID is ALC- plus the first 16 hex characters, in upper case, in groups of four.
Cookies, tracking, and scripts
This app sets no cookies.
Every page loads Google Analytics 4 (gtag) for measurement id G-QPNZFFBN9W. The script comes from www.googletagmanager.com. IP anonymisation is on. The tag receives a page view. It does not receive the name, the company, the answers, or the waitlist email. Google may set its own cookie.
We do not track people across sites. We do not change the site based on a Do Not Track signal, because there is no cross-site tracker to turn off.
Who this is for
The site is published at https://literacy.learntrainai.com. The check is aimed at people using AI tools at work. We do not ask for an age. The only personal data the app keeps is the waitlist email described above.
